From first lesson to test day

1

Set your date and province

Add your test date and where you live. The app counts down, sets a daily pace and adds the questions about your province or territory.

2

Learn one chapter at a time

All ten chapters of Discover Canada as short, two-minute lessons. Read them, or listen with the screen off.

3

Practise with real explanations

Every question tells you why the answer is right and which part of the guide it comes from, so mistakes turn into knowledge.

4

Pass the mock exam

Take full 20-question mock exams in the online or in-person format until you pass comfortably — then walk in ready.

Bite-size lessons for every chapter

Discover Canada, rewritten into clear lessons of about two minutes each. See what you've read and mastered, practise that chapter on its own, and review only the questions you got wrong.

Learn why, not just what

Answer a question and see right away whether you got it, with a plain-language explanation and the section of the official guide it comes from. Save the tricky ones to revisit later.

Every lesson, read aloud

Narration in English and Canadian French, with the text lighting up as it's read. Change the speed, skip back 15 seconds, and keep listening on the commute or from the lock screen.

The real test, before the real test

20 questions and a pass mark of 15, timed like the online (45 minutes) or in-person (30 minutes) test. Nothing is revealed until you submit — then you get your score and a chapter-by-chapter breakdown.

A readiness score you can trust

Mastery, coverage and mock-exam results roll into one readiness score, and a four-week activity map keeps your streak honest. Your test date sets the daily pace.

Before you download

Is this the official Canadian citizenship test app?
No. Canada Citizenship 2027 is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada or IRCC. The only official study material is the free Discover Canada guide at canada.ca. Every lesson and question in the app is written from that guide and checked against it.
How many questions are on the real citizenship test?
Twenty. You need 15 correct (75%) to pass, with 45 minutes for the online test and 30 minutes in person. The app's mock exams use the same numbers and both formats.
Can I study in French?
Yes. Every question, explanation and narrated lesson is available in Canadian French as well as English, and you can switch the whole app in one tap.
What is free, and what does full access cost?
The first two chapters and two mock exams are free, with no account and no time limit. Full access is a one-time lifetime purchase, or a weekly plan that starts with a free trial. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.
Does it cover questions about my province or territory?
Yes. The real test asks about where you live, so the app has its own question set for each of the 13 provinces and territories. Pick yours and those questions join your practice.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No. Everything, including the audio, is built into the app, so it works offline. There is no account and no sign-in; your progress stays on your iPhone.
